Planking Photo Contest?

Anyone ever hear of this before? I was thinking of running an NJYP Planking Photo Contest (as soon as I get some good prizes). Would anyone do this?

Wow, I had never heard about this. Some of the pictures are really neat. So it’s basically laying down face down?

I wouldn't want anyone to do anything risky.. but it would be funny if people did it at NJYP events like in the middle of a Sundress and Tie Party :)

i agree, kasey. wouldn't want to see ANYONE getting hurt-- or arrested (planking on a police car)-- in the name of fun (or NJYP!) it could be safer but still fun if you outline what can and cannot be done (to minimize liability and risk-taking.)

what would be the criteria for 'winning' the contest? would there be criteria that would disqualify people from the contest (or posting photos) if they planked in a dangerous place? the thrill about planking is to plank in places that others havent and many of them being VERY risky, like the middle of a busy street or a 10th floor balcony (a guy recently fell to his death doing that one)...id hate to see someone get hurt and potentially open up njyp to liability!
