I can do it both times. I am up for going this Friday AND 2/5. Yes - i take food (and Restaurant Week - NYC or anywhere) VERY seriously, LOL :)

I think my friend can do 1/29 too. If we are doing something for this Friday we should make reservations soon though.

I am okay with ANY place, and time wise i am good to be in the city anytime after 8PM (will be driving into NYC). I'll be checking for posts.

Ok, I think the bulk of responses would prefer to do this meet up next week.

I chose MEGU & made tentative reservations.. it's early or late dinner & limited on friday night.

I just called and here are the options:
2/5 @ 6:15 or 10pm seating@ Midtown location.
2/6 (Saturday) @ 8pm @ TRIBECA location

both days participate in Restaurant Week & both days work for me. Sorry to say... but if the responses are mostly in favor of one day, over the other; I will have to pick the most popular time slot. PLEASE BE SPECIFIC IN YOUR PREFERENCE... TIME & DATE.

Please give me a definite "yeah" or "nay" by Sunday, so I can call & confirm reservations. Let me remind you, it's very booked, finding another place may NOT be easy. Thanks again & looking forward to meeting you!

I wouldn't mind a late seating - more people would probably be able to go anyway...

I can do Megu @ the Tribeca location on 2/6.
It works better for me in terms of time and date - but i respect the criteria of majority wins. Good planning Tracy - and nice pick for the restaurant.
Hopefully i'll get to experience me some great Japanese unami!
