Last call for USA v. Ecuador.  Ordering tonight:

Headcount of 6: Nelly, Nina + 1, Michael, Martin, and I

If anyone is interested in meeting up before the game, the American Outlaws (the supporter's club of the US National Team) will be going to Catas on 538 Market Street in Newark, NJ.  They will be there starting at 1 PM and will start their march into the stadium by leaving Catas at 6 PM.  They will have drink specials at Catas including Domestic draft beer for $2.50, imported draft beer for $3.50, Guiness draft for $6, domestic pitchers for $9, imported pitchers for $12, and Guiness pitchers for $20.

Anyone want to meet there at a certain time as a group?

That would be awesome, but I'll probably get to Newark Penn around 6:15...so I'll probably head straight to the stadium from there and you guys up there.

After the US game, is anyone interested in watching Mexico/Brazil somewhere in Ironbound?

Michael, I'm not sure what time I will get to Newark.  I will send you a message on this thread if I get there early enough.  Is everyone driving in or taking public transportation?  I would be coming in from Millburn, not sure how far the train station is from the stadium so I'll probably drive.

Martin - approximately what time do you think the game will end?  It's been a long time since I've watched a soccer game from start to finish.  Not sure if I will be able to hang after the game.

Nelly, I'm taking NJTransit (coming from New Brunswick). The stadium is about a 10-20 minute walk from the station. The US game should end around 9 (if they stick with the 7pm kick off time). Two-45 minute halves + 15 minute half time + stoppage time...roughly two hours. The Mexico/Brazil game starts at 9:30.
Larry and I will be taking the train in from Summit...train shouldbe here soon. See you soon!
I missed this thread. I'm interested if any future games are planned. I enjoy socccer and a live game would be great. Enjoy today's game.
Ugh, what a pain, train was late, no shuttle has come by and now waiting for the light rail
Thanks Larry for arranging last night's game and Martin for starting this thread.  I had a lot of fun, can't wait to to do this again.  It was nice to meet you Nina, Martin & Michael...and Larry it's always a pleasure.  :-)

Is anyone going to the Bayern Munich Vs. Real Madrid game?
