On November 15th, I will work with hundreds of volunteers at the 2014 Teaneck Packathon for Haiti to assemble 125,000 meals for hungry school children in Haiti!
Before anything else, we have to raise $60,000. This money will be used to: •buy the food ingredients plus shipping and delivery in Trois Mares and Chapottin, Ouest, Haiti •hire a Haitian community organizer to help the people in Trois Mares work towards economic stability and •build a cistern and kitchen for the Chapottin school in Haiti.
Of this $60,000, my personal goal is to raise $1,000. I am really committed to everything Teaneck Packathon for Haiti is trying to do, and I have seen first-hand that the hard work and money is used exactly as it is promised. I participated in the packathon for the first time last year and it made such an impact on me that I decided to join the planning committee this year. Will you help me?
