The New Palm Pre

Hello,

It's time for me to upgrade my work cell phone and am wondering about the Palm Pre (I have Sprint). Is anyone familiar with it or would recommend it?

Or....should I just get a Blackberry.

A Sprint store or Radio Shack might have a demo model you can try for a bit. I did, but wasn't impressed enough to replace my "old" clamshell phone.

The following were disappointing: Seemed a little slow. I had a tough time scrolling/gesturing on the screen. The keypad felt too small (but I haven't used a Blackberry). Didn't find a touch-screen keyboard as an alternative.

Otherwise, it's a cool looking phone and it can keep multiple apps active.
