Hi Everyone-

I am in the process of planning a trip to Macchu Picchu in the fall. I want to go on a guided tour and am looking at Tambo Tours, Yampu Tours and Gate1. Does anyone have any experience with any of these tour groups?

No, but you might want to check Contiki Tours and see if they are doing a trip there. It is for young people 21-35 I think
You should try Dynamicoutdoors.com. It's a group out of NYC that does trips in the US, as well as abroad. Lots of young people that are outdoor enthusiasts. My friend did a trip to Machu Pichu with them about 2 years ago and he loved it, made a lot of friends. They have a group going there May 21 to May 30. Check them out.
Hey,

I went to Machu Picchu last summer as part of a 15 day trip to Peru, but I did it with GAP Adventures. They were great! The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable / friendly and everyone was around our age. I haven't heard of the other groups, but if you need any information at all about Peru (like other places to see / things to do) or you want to know about GAP let me know!
