About Marie:
I am a 27-year-old self-employed woman living in Marlborough, MA. I have never been married and I have no children. I was born in Haiti and have lived in Massachusetts since I was 14 years old. My parents have been married for almost 29 years and have six children; three girls, three boys. I am the second oldest and my family means the world to me. I am extremely close to my mother and two sisters; they are the most important people in my life.  I know many people but have few close friends. I have never made an enemy. I have a positive outlook in life, I rarely get mad. I was raised Protestant, though I pray daily, I consider myself spiritual and not religious. I do speak French and Haitian Creole fluently. I love to travel and once managed a travel group for 11 months. I have been to Canada once and have traveled the US extensively. I have yet to go back to my country since I've moved to the United States. I have an American passport. I hold two bachelor's degrees from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, English literature and psychology.
I love to eat, and I'll try any type of food at least once. My favorite food at the moment is Indian food. I don't smoke or do any drugs but I do drink (I enjoy a glass of wine every now and then). I enjoy reading fiction novels especially chick lit. I don't have any tattoos. I had my navel pierced when I was 18 years old but have stopped wearing a navel ring for years now. My ears aren't pierced (I wear clip-on earrings sometimes).

Other random facts about me: I once shaved my head off because I felt like it. I was in the U.S. military. I love burlesque, 50's pin up girl style.

What I am looking in a man:
I am tall enough at 5 ft 10 so I prefer a man who is 6 ft or above. I'm not interested in anyone who terrible thin, actually I've never really been attracted to anyone who was thin. Muscular guys are okay but I am not into gym rats. I don't mind a belly, but a full beer gut won't do. A bit overweight is fine but no obese men. Must be between the ages of 29-40 years old. Race is not of any importance to me but if you think that your family might be bothered by my race, please don't apply.  Must love dogs and children. Sense of humor is an absolute must and he should not take things to seriously. A man with common sense, integrity and who has respect for everything living and others' properties. Someone who is a hard worker and who follows through. He can be a light drinker and I prefer non-smokers and please no drug use of any kind. I prefer someone who does not have tattoos or piercings. I am uninterested in anyone who already has children but I'd like someone who loves children and would love to someday start a family. I'm looking for a man who has minimum a bachelor's degree, gainfully employed and don't live with their parents or exes.
