Back in 2009 I posted an online petition to sign to have a NJ Home Based Bakers Bill written.  Since then our bill was written! And I am beyond thrilled to state that bill S2734 has a hearing on Monday!! It would mean the WORLD to mean if you would take 5 min and email OLSaideSHH@njleg.org with a  brief testimony supporting this bill.  The short story is what we (the NJ Home based bakers) want to pass a law to license home kitchens.  We want to have health inspections and health code and be accountable for complying to laws just as if we were a commercial space – but in our home.  Most people especially in this economy do not have the capital to open a store front bakery.  This could be a huge change for NJ and result in jobs and revenue.  Please take the time to send an email.  You can message me if you need any additional details.  From the bottom of my heart I appreciate you help!
