I'm planning to sign up for a soccer team this spring.  I can't decide whether I should go through ZOG Sports or Jersey Club Sports.  Does anyone have experience with either group?

I've done Zog! They're usually pretty well organized, though I do recall it being expensive. My company picked up the bill for our company football team though. =)
I did indoor soccer with JCS and it was great. A lot of fun. The only thing I did not like was how late some of the games were.
Did you sign up alone? Were you placed with a team?

Rebecca- Overwhelmingly more people in NJYP do JCS since Zog is only in Hobokoen and has a reputation for being pricey.
Hi Rebecca -

I am presently playing the indoor soccer tournament through JCS. It's pretty good -and it's fun!! It is coed, and for $80 i am guaranteed at least 7 or 8 games (not including playoffs). I too signed up solo, but once you meet the people on your team then it's cool. My games are on Mondays, and more than the game hours, i wish i did not have to drive the 45 minutes to Morristown. But anything to sustain my addiction to the real "football" game :)
I thought about doing the turf - but that is REALLY too far from me (i think in Randolph), plus by then hopefully i can resume outdoor playing on Rutgers fields on Busch Campus. Have fun!
I started my own kickball team in JCS in the fall, loved it and have met a bunch of new people. Really looking forward to the next season. Afterward everyone heads to the Frog and we get happy hour specials all night which is awesome! The bar is normally packed after the games with mostly just us and since we all have our team shirts on it's easy to go up and talk to everyone.
I live in Morristown though so everything is close by for me
Thanks everyone!

I signed up for indoor turf soccer with Jersey Club Sports, but I haven't yet heard if I was placed on a team. Also, my payment was confirmed but that was the only e-mail I got. Should I have heard something else?

Hey Rebecca-
I run Jersey Club Sports. If you want to join, I can add you to a team that needs someone. This is the first season we are playing on turf so it should be a lot of fun!
Regards,
Deb
