I know what you mean about going to your first event alone. I felt the same way when I went to my first event a few weeks ago (luau in New Brunswick). But, once I got there, it was great! Everyone is really friendly. I told the host that it was my first event and she introduced me to a couple of her friends. By the end of the night, I had met over a dozen new people and even had some invites to get together with a group of NJYPers the following week. So, don't be afraid to come by yourself :)

So far, I have only been to one event. But, I met some nice people there and am looking forward to attending more. I am planning to attend the upcoming happy hour in Princeton, as are a couple of other Mercer County residents that I have befriended on this site. We are all looking forward to meeting each other in person. You should come :)
