Event Description

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The usual Irish pubs are SLAMMED today so we are going to do it up the Spanish way! Join the members of NJYP as we take over the bar at this adorable eatery. Expect drink specials, young professionals, and a Happy Hour that lasts until at least 8pm. YES, it will be cozy but it will be fun.

Who should attend:
Anyone who is 21-39 years old.

What to expect:
Our Happy Hours are very casual. There are no sign-in tables, no name tags, and no ice breakers. Expect people to walk up to you to introduce themselves and feel free to walk up to others who you do not know. Newbies are at EVERY NJYP event so if this is your first, you won't be alone.

Drink Specials:
$1 off glasses of wine & sangria.
$5 Margaritas & Mojitos

Cost:
FREE, but please RSVP so we know you are attending.

NJYP Host:
Rachel is hosting.

Finding the Group:
We are going to take over the bar. If you see someone there 21 to 39 years old, they are with NJYP so say hi!

Directions:
http://www.cervantesofspain.com/
FREE parking at the train station.

Parking is free at the train station, and somewhat plentiful if you get there early.

It's been a while since I've been here...can someone tell me what the parking situation is? Is it metered/prepaid parking?

If I can get my corned beef and cabbage fix out of the way at lunch time, I will try to make it down for the happy hour. :)

Update: They will make more space for us by removing some tables and chairs.

Hey All- I tried to find a new bar and I have reached out to the ones mentioned below but none have gotten back to me with the answers I needed. Some are too busy for us, some want us to come in on a Tuesday, some will not give us any drink specials :( I'll keep trying though.

I actually have not been to the establishment, but I've heard that the Cavalier Diner in Elizabeth both has drinks and a private room downstairs. NJYP may want to check it out.

I agree with Missie, I wasn't a fan of Cervantes because of the size!
