Although your relationship status might have affected your plans the night before it can't keep you from the hike that has it all: fields, forest, a scenic overlook, and a river walk! This 4.5 miler is sure make for happy hearts, all while doing the cardiovascular system good.  What better way to celebrate the end of Valentine's Day than with some good ol' fresh air, exercise, and then a treat of hot chocolate for your hard work! A sweet and steamy beverage that is sure to warm you from the inside out.

As with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.

Member Cost:
$10 online
$20 at the door (so please register online)

Non-Member Cost:
$20 online and at the door

Tickets:
There are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is subject to change depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc. All sales are final.

Sweeper:
If the group is large we are going to look for 2 volunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.

Hike Leader:
Maren will be leading this hike.

What to bring:
Hiking boots or sneakers
2 Liters of Water (required).
Snacks, a light lunch, etc.
Toilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.

Inclement Weather:
Most heavy precipitation will cancel this hike; drizzle/flurries may not. Please check your inbox for updates. Tickets will be refunded.

Directions:
From I-80 West, take exit 26 to merge on US-46 West toward Budd Lake/Hackettstown. After about 5 miles turn left onto Naughright Road, followed by a right turn onto Flocktown Road about 3 miles later. In 2 miles turn left onto NJ-24/Schooleys Mountain Road and then take the first right onto Pleasant Grove Road. Continue onto Penwell Road and the parking lot will come up quickly on the right.
