In the heart of Suburbia lies a beautiful piece of land set aside for us to explore. While it is in the middle of Millburn, West Orange and South Orange, you would never know after just a few minutes of hiking within! Witness 2 waterfalls, giant Rhododendrons and a pretty riverside walk as part of the adventure. Afterward those who have worked up an appetite will head out for lunch together.

Directions:
Take 280 West until exit 10 (West Orange / Northfield Ave). At the end of the ramp, make a left onto Northfield Ave. Follow for approx 2.4 miles and bear right just past the dunkin donuts on the right hand side (you’ll see a sign that shows an arrow pointing to right saying Verona, and it’s a 1 way street). Follow that 1 way to the end and make a left. That will put you on Cherry Lane. Follow that for almost a mile and then look for the Tulip Springs parking area sign on the left hand side of the road. Pull into the 2nd parking area, about 200 feet to the right after you turn in.

EveryTrail - Find the best Hiking in New Jersey
Hi Amy - I'm afraid it means we are at our limit of 25 which is the park rule, not ours. So sorry.
Tried to order tickets online but, it said they were sold out. Does anyone know if that includes at the door as well???
Works for me. Anyone who wants to meet us is welcome. That's 410 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, near the corner with Prospect Avenue, 9 a.m.
If you think you're coming, try to give us a heads-up here so we know how big of a table to ask for.
Eagle Rock Diner sounds great. Would 9:00 give us enough time?
There are a few great places in Montclair for brunch, but a heavy breakfast before a hike seems like a bad idea. Maybe the Eagle Rock diner?
I'm up for a pre-hike breakfast on Sunday... Were you thinking of any place in particular?
This is actually in my 'hood. Anyone want to meet up for a light breakfast before the hike?
nevermind, got it! :-)
