Get your daily vitamin D with us on this moderate 4.5 mile hike. The fresh air and long winding paths will keep you healthy and strong while the Young Professionals who will be hiking by your side will keep you entertained. Afterwards we will venture out for a light lunch and cold drinks with new friends who were made along the way.

PS, The first one to spot a turkey along the trail will win a ticket to a future hike

Tickets:
There are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is subject to change depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc. All sales are final.

Sweeper:
If the group is large we are going to look for 2 volunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.

Hike Leader:
Maren will be leading this hike.

What to bring:
Hiking boots (expect mud).
2 Liters of Water (required).
Snacks, a light lunch, etc.
Layers if it is cold.
Toilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.

Finding the Group:
Meet the group in the SANDY RUN parking area. Please be on time, we will not wait for latecomers.

The following directions are to the main park entrance – then follow the signs to the Sandy Run Parking Area.
• NJ Turnpike to Exit 7A to Interstate 195 east. Follow I-195 east. Follow I-195 to exit 22. Turn left onto Jackson Mills Rd. north. Follow Jackson Mills Rd. to Georgia Rd., turn left and follow 1.7 miles to main park entrance.
• Garden State Parkway to Exit 98 to Interstate 195 west. I-195 west to Exit 22. Turn right onto Jackson Mills Rd. north; follow Jackson Mills Rd. to Georgia Rd.; turn left and follow 1.7 miles to main park entrance.
• State Hwy. 9 to route 524 west. Follow 524 west to Georgia Rd., turn left and follow Georgia Rd. 1.7 miles to main entrance.
