Event Description

This month we are taking the Essex County Happy Hour back to Newark! Meet us at The Arena Lounge, a beautiful bar and lounge located close to the Prudential Center. There will be drink specials, friendly young professionals, and no cover charge! Let’s pack the bar at this successful local restaurant!

Specials:
$4 martinis
$3 all draft beer
$20 sangria pitchers.

Who should attend:
Anyone who is 21-39 years old. There is no cover and ALL are welcome! Please RSVP so we know you are coming.

What to expect:
Our Happy Hours are very casual. There are no sign-in tables, no name tags, and no ice breakers. Expect people to walk up to you to introduce themselves and feel free to walk up to others who you do not know. Newbies are at EVERY NJYP event so if this is your first, you won't be alone.

Comment by Erin V on December 31, 2009 at 10:41am: Darlene - it's a good 7 or 8 blocks from Penn, it's not a terrible walk if it's not too cold. I would recommend you walk Market, take a Left on Mulberry and then a Left on Green as the most well lit and safest route as that takes you right past the arena. I'll be parking near the corner of Mulberry and Market, let me know if you'd like to coordinate and we could walk together.
