We are offering this DAYTIME event to anyone who is unemployed or on furlough. Bond, connect, and network while working in one of Morris County’s beautiful gardens. The NJYP group of volunteers will specifically be working in the Spring Garden/Azalea Trail on projects such as cutting back, removal of briars, raking, and weeding.
RSVP (to the right) and we will let you know when tix are almost gone, when prices are going up, if there are any changes, etc.
Deposits:
Because they are relying on us we are asking that all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $7.17. The $7.17 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will be accepted up until noon on the day before the event.
About GardenWorks:
The Morris County Park Commission offers Group Gardening opportunities through our Horticulture Volunteer Program, GardenWorks. The objective is to introduce our community to the beautiful public gardens within Morris County.
What to Wear/Bring:
Comfortable long-sleeved shirts and long pants.
No open-toe shoes, please.
Perfume is not advised.
Please bring gloves.
Bring water and a snack.
Bring a lunch; we will be taking a break.

Let staff know you are volutneering with NJYP. You should be meeting ALL the daily volunteers at the main directory, which is located in the main parking area
