Please do not "crash" this event. If you did not put down a deposit, please do not attend due to safety/space issues. "Party crashers" will not be upgraded to Premium Membership and may be asked to leave if there is no space.

Let's meet-up and volunteer two hours of our day to help the Hoboken Shelter in their Soup Kitchen. As a group we will assist with preparing and serving meals for their guests in need.
What to bring:
Bring 1 paper product (a box of plates, a bag of napkins, paper cups, etc)
What to wear:
Overall wear comfortable clothing, jeans, T-shirt, etc
Please dress appropriately. Do not wear inappropriate clothing.
Please wear long pants, no shorts.
No loose clothing.
NO OPEN-TOED SHOES instead wear non-slippery shoes.
Bring a hat if you do not want to wear a hairnet.
Please leave all purses, backpacks, I-Pods and other valuables locked in your cars.

Deposits:
Because the Soup Kitchen is relying on us we are asking that all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $12.99. The $12.99 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will be accepted up until noon on the day before the event.
About the Shelter:
"The mission of The Hoboken Shelter is to provide a safe haven to homelessness adult men and women. The shelter is owned and operated by Communities of Faith for Housing, Inc., a non-profit housing corporation made up of ministers and laity from houses of worship, as well as several Hoboken community leaders.
The shelter provides accommodations for 50 men and women nightly and serves 200 meals daily. The shelter also offers case management, counseling, workshops in the arts, and training in job & life skills."
