Event Description

This month we are hitting up a "new to NJYP" bar! Meet us at Bask Bar; a cozy sports bar that also has outdoor seating. There will be drink specials, friendly young professionals, and no cover charge! Let’s pack the bar at hip hot spot!

Who should attend:
Anyone who is 21-39 years old. There is no cover and ALL are welcome! Please RSVP so we know you are coming.

What to expect:
Our Happy Hours are very casual. There are no sign-in tables, no name tags, and no ice breakers. Expect people to walk up to you to introduce themselves and feel free to walk up to others who you do not know. Newbies are at EVERY NJYP event so if this is your first, you won't be alone.

$5 double mixed drinks
$1 off all draft beers

Comment by Kevin Haughwout on April 28, 2010 at 4:27pm: Bask Bar is right off of the Browertown Road exit of Rt 46, just north of the highway. Look for the colorful surfboards outside of the door.

A quick note on parking: Bask has a small lot and shares it with the adjoining dry cleaners. A couple of the spaces in front of the cleaners are reserved for their customers, and the cleaners will complain and/or tow if you park there.

If you can't get a space in Bask's lot, I would recommend parking on Briarwood Court (the side street that the parking lot opens onto) or in the larger lot at the strip mall on the other side of the bar.

Comment by Kevin Haughwout on April 26, 2010 at 9:25pm: If you're worried about being able to grab dinner after work, don't. Bask has great bar food! Sure, it may not be the healthiest, but I spent many a hard day after work fueling myself on a bar pie, burger, steak sandwich, or wings!
