Now that we are out of the dead of winter, what does everyone have planned for the summer? I already got a Sugarland (yes I like country), Mets (yes I like the Mets) game set, and hopefully showing a lot of houses as the real estate market heats up.  How about everyone else? Hopefully we can give each other some ideas.

I'm also going to see Sugarland (I can put up with Country) and I am also going to a baseball game- but I'm going to see the Orioles. I'm probably not showing any houses, but looks like a strong chance of looking at houses! What a coincidence?!

As for other plans to keep me busy this spring/summer I would like to: go rock climbing (indoor), do an outdoor scavenger hunt, perhaps take in a murder mystery dinner or medieval times, tour a winery, play miniature golf, have a throw back to the 80's weekend with roller skating and laser tag, bike along the canal path, see some minor league baseball games, take some weekend road trips to new destinations, and whatever else I can pull out of my hat! Hope this helps.
Speaking on concerts, who among the non-country crowd would be interested in Scorpions/Cinderella on Friday 6/18 or Iron Maiden/Dream Theater on Sunday 7/11? Both shows are at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.
I have 2 concerts lined up-Trans Siberian Orchestra this week, Papa Roach in a week and a half, a Yankees game this Summer. As for other things I want to do: rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, sky diving, maybe do a little strawberry picking down at the farms, spending lots of time at the beach, visiting New Hope, hiking, doing a little photography....

Kevin-I love old Dream Theater, don't know if I'll go to that show though.
I'm going to Mexico in 3 weeks! Going to a Washington Nationals game in DC in May (yep, I'm probably the the only Nationals fan on NJYP...haha). Got tickets to see Daughtry with Lifehouse in June. I know a couple of other bands I like I going on tour in the summer, so I'll probably go when those dates are announced. Those are my main plans right now, but I'm sure other things will come up :-)
Interesting list of things you have there Miss Soriero. I hope you find someone that can keep up with those adventures. You definitely know how to keep busy. I don't know if this is too forward, but maybe you can clear out some of your calendar and we can take a stab at crossing some of those off the list...just a thought.

As far as baseball, I recommend the smaller minor and independent league games. You'll pay a lot less for tickets, and there are a few here in NJ. I try to hit a few New Jersey Jackals games each month during the summer at Montclair State University. Tickets are $8-$10, and I like to go on Thursday nights when beers and sodas are only $1. If you want to check out one of their games with me, let me know.
I am planning on focusing on my house--I moved in last August and I am getting around to tackling some projects to make my space feel more like a home.

I am also planning on taking in a few Trenton Thunder games.
We started going to Somerset Patriots games last summer and they were a blast, will definitely go back this year, if anyone is interested in coming to a weekend game, drop me a line.
Dar, where do you pick strawberries? We'll also definitely hit some farms this year for berries or apples or peaches ... or all of them.
I would love to go rafting, or try tubing -- hopefully NJYP will try that again this year (last year it got cancelled).
Well, I'm pretty busy in the month of May. I am planning my own birthday party with a bunch of my friends and then Memorial Day weekend, I am heading to San Fran with some friends for some fun in the sun and adventure. Once the summer starts, hope to take a couple of weekend trips here and there...maybe grape stomping, wine tasting, and/or Shakespeare in the Park.

In the meantime, I am job searching...so busy with applying and planning for long term stuff.
