HELP WANTED: Fundraising Specialist-The Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America is a youth serving non-profit organization located in Northern/Central, New Jersey. We have a great opportunity for a FUNDRAISING SPECIALIST in a fast paced/energetic department. The Fundraising

Specialist is responsible for CLERICAL WORK, DATA ENTRY, and GRAPHIC DESIGN.

Responsibilities include:

• Data entry – For Special Events and our annual Giving Campaign

• Creating reports in Microsoft Excel and Access

• Develop invitations and advertisement journals in Adobe InDesign and/or Publisher

• Monthly reconciling of event income and expenses

• General filing, faxing, copying

• Assisting staff with all other administrative duties as needed

• Budget planning for future year events

• Communicating with high end donors, clients, vendors, and senior level executives

Skills and Abilities:

• Professional demeanor

• Strong attention to detail

• Organization and ability to multi-task

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and

PowerPoint)

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

• General computer skills

• Excellent communication: verbal and writing

• General accounting/bookkeeping knowledge

Salary:

• $16/hour

• 1-3 years
