Winter break in DR anyone interested?

Hey guys, I have a property in DR And wondering if anyone would be interested in a weekend getaway. Looking For a fun group Of friends who know how to have a good time......if you interested, let me know

actually, i went to Vegas in October 2010. Miami was the plan for October 2011. i was trying to plan well in advance, but that rarely ever works with me. we shall see.

i haven't been to Miami, yet, but i hear Memorial Weekend has become a bit too much. otherwise, i've heard mostly good things. i was in Sarasota last month. um, totally different scene (my aunt has a house down there so trips are usually for family time).

i haven't been to DR, either. (ugh! why does it feel like i have not been anywhere? LOL) i can understand a bit of Spanish, but i don't trust it too far. it was just enough to get me by in Mexico City and Havana (yeah, i've been somewhere).

i am def interested in going to the DR. i might be trying to do too much to go to DR in February/March, though, but it doesn't hurt to try, right? ;)

i just checked the flights in March, EWR-SDQ approx $500+, not too shabby!

NOTICE!!!!! just checked the flight info, the lowest flight so far is 135-150 one way, that makes about 300 or less roundtrip and I am looking at mid to end march for a week but the stay could baloon up to 3 weeks in my DR house. So now its last call, whos in who is out!!!!!

Shana, I am as flexible and accomodating as you will ever find in this group. The general time frame is mid to end march. however, it can stretch out to 2-3 weeks either direction(departure and return) Trying to fit most folks into the schedule. Any Qs, let me know. BTW, we should share the flight research for the benefit of the group so if peeps are looking for best deal to fly. Jet blue offers flights as low as 136-150 out of newark and JFK one way on numerous dates/flights. lets share the info and make sure we all have a blast!!!!!

As of now, looks like my best bet would be some combination of days between March 22 - 31. Not sure if that works for anyone else? I'm not 100% in (still have to look at finances), so if a different w'end/time works better, don't worry about me : )

Holly, looking to book the flight soon, probably by early next week. Everyone else, TALK UP here at the forum!!!! this is your last chance to voice your opinions about dates. Late comers will be left off the blast.

For those of you feeling comfy with spanish(when needed), you are free to fly alone. But if you are not comfy with it(you know who you are LOL!!) let me know so we can coordinate. Thats all for now to report. Lets be ready for one of the most memorable time of your life!!

I'm late to this discussion but I'd be up for it, LOL my Spanish is a bit rusty though. If you guys are planning on a extended weekend in mid-late march I'm all up for that.
