So I have this Friday off from work!

Like I mentioned to a couple people, I've been in Jersey for about 3 weeks, and still exploring the area. One thing I really want to do is check out NYC and be "that guy" taking pics of everything lol.

Anyways, if anyone would like to come along, I'm thinking of going in the morning and coming back at night.

If anyone wants to tag along (be my guide) let me know!

Sounds like fun. I have to work, but I'd be down for roaming one day on the weekend!
I'd love to join ya (Friday's supposed to be another beautiful day!)...but I have work until 11am...and it'll probably take me until after 12 or 1 to actually get into the city. Maybe next time tho.. have fun! :)

Martin, have fun, I recommend definitely check out Central Park and if your around that stop over by the Metropolitan Museum of Art as it is huge and can be fairly cheap, last time i went it was pay as yo wish, especially if you have a student I.D.

If you plan on spending a whole day, I recommend a Metro Daily Pass and a good portable subway map to get you around.

Also check out Time Out NY Mag online as they usually have a listing of events going on that day in the city.

I can't make this but it was nice meeting you last Friday!  Hopefully you can connect with some others who are off of work.

Hey Martin,

I should be able to show you around on Friday.  I'll send you a friend request so we can email/coordinate.

Thnx for responding guys.

Laura, it was great meeting the person behind all this!

Drew, thanks for the ideas, the museum sounds awesome, and so far nymag has a ton of cool stuff listed.

Holly, that would be great! It's always more fun to roam around with a partner!

Thanks Kristen! I wasn't even expecting to cover much in one day lol. I'll definitely take a look at some of your suggestions.

Thanks again!!

Hey Martin & Holly - looks like I'll be up there at night. So if you are interested in Salsa Dancing, send me a message and maybe we can meet up!

Actually, Holly told me she'd only be up there till about 3pm. I sent Drew a message as well about the night. I'm kinda thinking about going to see Avenue Q, but Salsa's always an option too!

btdubs, i'm not a very good salsa dancer at all...below beginner status actually lol
