How does it feel to be part of the NJYP? My name is Charles by the way. Charles Anderson Jr to be exact. I just got approved of being a member here and I just need some of your opinion here on how does it feel to be part of the NJYP? My latest interest is to do some Photography. I even named my business as Charlz Photography. I'm trying to get a website for it this month in March sometime. Also, if you like to be friends then please let me know. The more, the merrier for me. Thanks for reading this. Hope to talk to you soon.

Welcome to NJYP!!
Thanks Aiyana!!! How do you like being a member here? I just got in a couple hrs ago lol!

Hi Charles-been a member of NJYP for two years now. It's been a really great way to meet people and make friends. Feel free to come out to an event, there's usuallly new members at events.

Also NJYP hires photographers to take picture at certain events so that's something you might be interested in.

Hey Neel! Thanks for the heads up on NJYP. Two yrs sounds impressive. Must be a very good network to be into. Yea I was being told by one of my friends that this site is a great place for meeting people and making friends. I'll have to find out more about NJYP hiring photographers. Sounds like something I can get into. I'm trying to set up my photography website too. Hopefully I'll have it by next thurs. If you can provide me a link or a way how NJYP can hire photographers then that'll be golden to me. Also if you like to be friends then I don't mind. Thanks for the brief info Neel!

Hey Charles

The link to apply for being a NJYP photographer is www.eventbrite.com.event/503190055.

Hope to see you at an upcoming event Charles.

Charles, the feeling is definitely easy-going; although your social life can become one long string of attending NJYP events if you let it!  There are so many ways to not only meet people but introduce yourself to new activities that you should not get bored enough to even watch television during the week.  You get what you put in; some folks don't attend many events and that it fine, too.  Others feel they need to suggest, host, or otherwise organize events which really are great ways to meet more people and also entertain folks with similar interests.  Good luck with your Photography.
I really appreciate this Neel! I'll go into the link sometime this weekend and let you know what I think of it ASAP.

Hey Kristen. The camera that I have is an Nikon  Coolpix P5100. It's a digital camera with optical zoom and so on.  But yea. I will email her before the is weekend is entirely over. Maybe tomorrow afternoon or so. I understand what you're saying. It must be an upgrade for you to establish many friends and strengthen your networking/marketing skills. I'm a type that can generate alot of friends so from what you said about NJYP and the photography business, I think I'll fit right in. I'm assuming you're a photographer maybe?

Charles, you can email Laura (laura@njyp.org) about being hired as a photographer. I think you're required to use a DSLR when working events (which I'm guessing you probably have) and taking a minimum amount of pictures. Then you'll have to submit the collection to Laura for approval and NJYP logo tagging. It also helps being friendly, I noticed some of the photographers are a little shy about approaching people for pictures. Also my friend David Blinder was doing photography lessons for NJYP, but I guess he's been too busy. Maybe Laura will figure a way to bring it back.

I've been a member for a little over 1.5 year. I've met and become friends with so many great people. I went from having little social life to a busy one! It's also helped me practice my networking and social skills (I do marketing and coordinate events). Just get out there..but I suggest trying something low key like a happy hour, hike, or volunteer event.

Thanks for the NJYP breakdown James. I believe everything that you said. I do think it's a easy-going site and yea I'll like to get involved with varieties of events and get acquainted with various people. I'm a true fan of diversity so I think I'll do fine here. Yea boredom is the worst atmosphere to be in. I mean I also feel like im already use to nightlife events like going to clubs. I feel like I master those types of events now since im in my late 20's now you know. And yea my photography is my next venture. I love pictures and capturing enjoyable moments within them whether it has to do with people, place or a thing. Thanks for the photography wishes. I'm planning on launching my own photography website before march is over. The name of it will be Charlz Photography.

Hi. Welcome!! I haven't made it out to events in a while (been busy) but hopefully soon. I've been hiking, volunteered at the food bank, tried speed dating, and just met people. It's a nice way to get to know some new people.
Hey Lisa! That sounds wonderful. That's cool that you ha the opportunity to do all of those things that you've mentioned in NJYP. I don't have a problem meeting new people. I'm the type that doesn't mind to open arms and embrace people. Hopefully I can be more involved into this network as far as participating to variety of events and make a difference within my lifetime. I believe highlights can be made here. Thanks for your imput Lisa! Maybe we can be friends!
