Been to a few NJYP events in the past, but a new member

My name is Andrew. I had been to more than a few events in the past with my friend Kasey who is a memeber, but I finally decided to take the plunge and become an actual member. I was wondering of NJYP, as a whole, goes to concerts/sports/theatre or is that more likely brought up by members in discussions? On that note, was wondering if anyone is by chance going to see "Sick Puppies" in Poughkeepsie, NY, next thursday? Or to the Avalanche Tour in NYC in April?

Welcome Andrew! Sports/theatre/concerts (with the exception of the Gen NEXT events which are "official" events) are generally organized by members as unofficial events. My boyfriend and I go to tons of concerts on our own (several a month) ... coming up we have Dirty Heads on 3/24, House of Pain on 4/8 and Hollywood Undead on 4/9. It's always good to check or post on the forums to try to find other people who are doing or want to do what you're doing ... sometimes there are no takers but other times you may find a LOT of interest so don't get discouraged :)

I was actually looking at the Hollywood Undead concert, but I will be down in new orleans that weekend. Thanks for the info!

Welcome Andrew. There is a concert thread somewhere on the Forum if you're interested in checking it out. Peeps were talking about Bamboozle as well as some other concerts.

Hey Andrew, I'm actually going to see Apocalyptica tomorrow 3/17, Sick Puppies 3/20, and Three Days Grace on 4/14 all at Starland Ballroom...I would totally be down for the Avalanche tour, but I already got tickets to Bamboozle

I was planning on seeing Alter Bridge in NY, but looks like I wont be able to make it to that one.
