I just moved to Sparta and quickly realized that after going home to walk the dog, Happy hour in Morristown is now a battle against traffic and i'm not so happy when I eventually make it there. Is anyone interested in a Happy Hour in the Sparta area? There is Krough's and Mohawk House which both have great hapy specials :)

Hi jami! I have lived in Sparta for a few months now and I love it!! There are a ton of great restaurants and places to go. Are you having a place built in Sparta Village?

Well hello neighbor, haha. I live in the first set of units that are built on the left past the model home overlooking the river. You will be in the units almost across from me. I closed in Sept and moved into the unit in Dec. I was having extra work done so I waited until everything was done before moving in.  There is plenty in the area to do! Lots of great hiking, you can easily hop on route 15 and be anywhere rather quickly and there are several great bars and restaurants in walking distance. Just stay away from The Mexican Place, WORST FOOD EVER. If you are the type of person who needs to have the city life, then Sparta isn't for you;however, if you like hiking, the outdoors and a peaceful area while being close to the city areas, Sparta is the perfect place.
