I am a skier and find it very difficult to find people that enjoy a brisk day out in the slopes. My family has a timeshare in Vt, which I enjoy 1x a year.
Some ski clubs can be very pricey- considering that they are weekend trips. Due to the economy- that seems to be a little above people's price range.
If anyone goes skiing in the winter... let me know and maybe we can meet up for a fun, intense and productive day of skiing (locally)???

Hello Adrienne. I'm def up for skiing. I tend to go to Belleayre in upstate NY. It takes about 2 hrs to get there but is totally worth it. The mnt is state owned and so the lift tix are cheaper than other privately owned ski places. They also do a lot of promotions such as a $10 skier appreciation day a month, ski for free on your bday and other promotions. I'll drive if anyone wants to set up a day trip. But I'll go anywher else as well. Let me know.
Funny that you have mentioned Whistler, B.C., Canada. I have been there a long time ago. We swapped our timeshare from VT to Canada.
I do realize that you are a pilot... But I am not a fan of flying. It took us 2 planes and like 10hrs. or so to get there. It is now funny that I can laugh and say- I had to rent ski clothes and of course skiies, boots and poles. My luggage was found and arrived to me- 4 days later.
That year was my 1st time tasting Indian food. And years later... I was introduced to that culture again- my summer job is owned and operated by Indians. I love that food!!
I had to text my dad to find out what year we went to B.C.... he thinks 1999 or 2000. So I obviously don't have digital pixs to show you of my trip- old 35mm. Somewhere in mom's house.
