I started doing some research, but I have a couple of questions before I continue. Any preference on how far anyone is willing to travel. That will narrow down the places to camp. I found two good sites that lists campgrounds in both NY and PA. Two that stood out was a place in the Lehigh River in PA. The cool thing about this one, and I'm just throwing it out there, is they have white water rafting. And what makes it even better is that on Oct 3 and 4, they will have a dam release which will make rafting a bit more exiting. Second place was in upstate NY, Lake Taghkanic State Park. You can camp right by the water and they have boat and kayak rentals on the lake. Again, this is just two that I picked out without knowing limit on distance. If you guys prefer something close in NJ, I would suggest Spruce Run in Clinton. Been there a couple of times and it's nice, running toilets and showers. Here are the links. Let me know what you think.

John,
Would LOVE to do the dam release...wanted to do it again this summer, but couldn't find the time. I vote for PA, because they have some great camping spots. Plus the drive isn't that bad for most poeple. How many people could we get for something like this?
