Come help raise money for a great cause! Autism effects 1 in 150 children & there is no known cause or cure!

FOR; AUTISM SPEAKS
WHAT: NORTH/CENTRAL NEW JERSEY "WALK NOW FOR AUTISM"
team "EDDIE'S ALL-STARS!"
WHEN: SUNDAY OCT. 18 2009
WHERE: NOMAHEGAN PARK, CRANFORD, NJ
TIME: 12 noon REGISTRATION, 2pm WALK BEGINS

This is an easy 2 mile walk. This will be my 2nd year heading up team "EDDIE'S ALL-STARS!" in honor of the adorable & very sweet 9yr old boy with Autism that I've been tutoring for a few years now! Free food & entertainment at the walk. I have set an overall team goal of $1000. Anyone who brings $100 in donations on the day of the walk at registration will recieve an Autism Speaks t-shirt. The more we raise the better!

I am currently looking to expand my team of walkers & raise funds for Autism Speaks. All donations are tax deductable & go to Autism Speaks for Autism Research.

I will be making team t-shirts for anyone interested. Please tell me what size & how many if you're interested ASAP!

For more information go to www.walknowforautism.org/NorthCentralNewJersey

Thanks!!!!

Kiera,

Last year was a lot of fun and I'm definitely interested in doing this again this year. I'm pretty sure my friend Paul who came last year will come again this year as well. I hope we can get a better turnout than last year. Is Laura going to post it as an official event?

I will donate some money towards the team through the website closer to the event. Is there anything else I need to do to sign up for the event?

Steve
I dont know if Laura is making this an offical event or not. I will be making t-shirts for anyone who's interested. I am asking that people who want a shirt contribute $5 to help cover the cost of the shirts & supplies. If there is any left over money from the shirts I will dontate it to Autism Speaks. Let me know by Oct 10th if you want a shirt & what size. Other then that, there's nothing else that needs to be done. I will let everyone know where & what time we'll meet as the date gets closer!

Thanks =)
