Hi. I have noticed over time that fewer and fewer events are in Monmouth and Ocean counties until now there are none. So I'm just putting this out there to see if we can find enough members to start having events "down the shore" again. Let me know if you are interested too.

I would definitely co-host this happy hour with Jim. Hopefully we can start planning other events in the area too if this one takes off.

Hi Laura,

I'll gladly host along with Rhandi, as she truly spearheaded the Monmouth County meet-up. If my fellow NJYPers agree, I'd suggest that we host the event at Teak in Red Bank on October 29th (as you suggested.) Red Bank is easily within reach for our Middlesex County members, and once the Jersey Shore crew gains some momentum I'm all about an event in Asbury Park.

Let me know if this works for you.

Jim- If you volunteer to host I'll make it official, Oct 29th at the bar of your choice.
Jim and Rhandi- Give me a few days.. I sent an email to Teak to see about a Happy Hour.. I'll reach out to you both via email.
Alright! Finally an upcoming Monmouth County event! :o)
Hi Everyone! Thanks to folks showing an interest in events in Monmouth County Laura has posted a new happy hour for 29 October in Red Bank. If we want to keep having events down here we need to make sure this one is a well attended success. Please RSVP yes and get you friends to do so as well. I'm sure it will be a blast so come on out.
I live in downtown Red Bank and would love to see some events down here. You should go for wed. at Jamains because its reggae night after 9ish. Teak is nice but the bar is not very big. Dublin house was just renovated and it looks really nice. Either way, im cool
Hey all,

I would LOVE to see events in RedBank, Asbury, Freehold and such. I live in Matawan and would be happy to help make things happen. Thanks Rhandi for getting this going!

Looking forward,
Michele
I am very interested. I wanted more events in Monmouth County for a long time.

Thanks to Rhandi and Jim (and everyone else who give me their 2cents) the Red Bank Happy Hour has been posted with details!

I'm sorry I missed a discussion like this -- I live on the Ocean side of the Ocean/Monmouth border, and I have a second strike against me in that I work nights on Wednesdays (a common event night). Making it to North Jersey on a work night is undoable, so it's great to have some closer options. :)
