Merrell Mud Run

Hi all, i'm going to participate in the Merrell Mud Run in Pelham Bay Park in Orchard Beach, Bronx on Oct. 2nd. This is the first time I'm attempting something like this. Is anyone else going to participate?

Maybe, I'm running Spartan race this sat. & nyc's 5th ave 1 miles in 2 weeks. I'll let you know if I'm up for another rave so soon. Keep me updated on your other obstacle run plans.

I'm signed up for the 5K, yes. And Nelly, I've never done this particular one before, but I just did the Warrior Dash last month. One of my coworkers told me about it, he did the one in Philly. I looked at the obstacle list and it looks very doable.

Anyone want to do the 10K? More obstacles and more race for your money. If not, I'll probably join a few other friends at 9:30.

well D, this is my first time trying something like this so I figured 5K is a good starting point...next year I would be open to doing a longer event after I see what I got myself into. Good luck

Colleen, it was so great to run with you and Jenny...so glad we found each other...had so much fun...I had so much mud in my ears...I probably still have some in there. Did you sign up already for the Spartan race? I'm going to need to really prepare for that one. Hope to see you and Jenny again soon.
