New Friends - Bergen/Passaic Area

Hi,

I just moved here a few months ago and am looking to make new friends. I've had a hard time meeting people outside of work, so I'd love to see if anyone on here is interested in chatting and/or getting together. I don't want to post my life story up here, but feel free to ask me anything. Looking forward to getting to know some new people!

Hey Ricci,

Thanks for getting back to me! I moved here from Long Island back in August. I've been to one event so far and am hoping to go to some other ones soon. I'll definitely be at the Habitat for Humanity event on Nov. 7th.

I just returned to the Bergen area recently. I've been looking for a good 25 mile bicycle route. Anybody interested in riding?

Hi Rebecca,
I moved to NJ from CT about a year ago. I am also looking to meet new friends in the area. We should try to make it to the same NJYP event in the near future! I am planning on attending the hike this weekend and the Paramus happy hour in a couple of weeks.

I recently made a move too from Wisconsin ( :) i know rite )

However I was born & raised in NJ. All my friends seem to move out of the state so I need to make some new connections with people.

Hi all,

I have started a discussion as well about meeting new friends especially girls and going out. The plan is to set something up soon, hopefully even next weekend. Right now it's looking like Morristown would be a central spot for all. Let me know if you're interested and we can pick and time and place.

Hi Kimberly,
I am also looking to make some new friends. Although I was born in NYC, I was raised in NJ. All my friends either moved out of the state or are engaged/married so I need to meet new people.
I'm 28, single, no kids...so far I've enjoyed NJYP events (been to a couple of them). Have you gone to any events yet? I live in Middlesex County so mostly make it to those events.

I too am a new NJYP member, been following since it began on Yahoo many moons ago, but a recent change in my personal life made joining a good opportunity. I don't want to bore everyone with the details, but feel free to drop me a line if you want to talk.

I was born and raised in Bergen County and only moved away for college. I am an avid hockey player and fan.. I DJ on the side, and I am looking to meet new friends and have a some fun outside of work.

I am a first timer to NJYP events, and I hope to attend my first one in Bergen County or close soon.

I used to live in Passaic county, but now I am in Essex although it's not too far out of the way. I am also looking to expand my circle of friends since I work a lot and rarely meet people outside of the office. I would be interested in meeting up some time or at an upcoming event.

Hello. It looks like I'm pretty late to reply to this, but are you still looking for someone to go riding with? I live in East Rutherford and I've been trying to find some people to ride with for a while now. I was actually thinking about setting up some sort of NJYP event involving biking, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I know some pretty decent places to ride, so let me know if you're still interested.

Hi Jake,

I actually teach in East Rutherford. I'm only one town over from you in Wallington. I don't have my bike in my apartment right now, but if you set something up I'll get it from my parent's place next time I'm there. I'll actually be out of the country for the next two weeks, but after that my schedule is pretty open.
