Anyone interested in joining me in doing this? I've never tried snowshoeing but I think I should be able to do a 5K. If anyone's done this before, feel free to share your experiences and any tips on how to prepare.

Its great you are joining us Amanda ! yeah ! :) We didn't order t-shirts, so we are all in the same boat. I am planning also going there early as well to get the demo shoes.
We were talking about carpooIing yesterday, I am in Parsippany, and Nelly you are just south of me, so you can park in Parsippany and I can drive. I don't mind. Peter is on the way too.
Amanda, you can join us too. You guys let me know, it all depends how early you want to be there. Based on the google maps, it would take an hour to get there from Parsippany.
I-80 to NJ 15 to CO 517 to 23 and 94 going north

Where is it having you go north? 206?
Hey guys, Keri also joined our team. I sent you guys a message on the team page. Go Frosty Ninjas! I believe Keri lives near Montclair. Amanda, if you want you can come to my place in Millburn, park there then I'll drive us to meet Dejan and Peter in Parsippany. I have to see if Keri wants to carpool with us as well. Dejan, will the 5 of us fit in your car?
I don't live in Parsippany. I live 20 miles west of there. I could meet you in Rockaway (Rockaway mall exit 35b), It's the exit before Rt. 15. or could meet in Parsippany but need a location. That's awesome that Keri also joined the team!
All,
I think 5 people can fit in my car. Nelly, and Keri can park at my place, there is a public parking lot. Or we can meet somewhere else, it's up to you guys, there are also two free parking lots in Parsippany for commuters. Regarding time, it looks like it's gonna snow tonight and a little tomorrow so we should meet around 7:30 the latest? We can pick you up Peter at Rockaway mall.
Let me know what you guys think.
