Wine Tasting OR BYO event?

Hi Everyone!!!

I am new to this NJYP, so I wanted to first of all say hello!!! I hope to meet a lot of new friends :-)

I was also wondering if anyone would be interested in a wine tasting or BYO type of event? We could pick a BYO venue, everyone could bring their favorite wine ($15-$30 price range), and we could all enjoy a night of food & wine. OR... I could research and see if any local places do an educational wine/food pairing type of event.

I'm not familiar with how suggesting an event with this group goes yet, but I am always looking for more "winos" (like me) to have a nice night out with. :-p

I can't wait to meet everybody, this will be fun! Are you making the reservations under NJYP? Just wondering who I tell them I'm with when I get there :-)

The place is pretty small, Theo. You won't miss us. (It's under my name, Robin.) I'm hoping we will be in the private room in the back.(most likely, fingers crossed, lol).

BTW- I picked up a Rioja and a Bordeaux today... I just couldn't decide, haha. I hope we can handle our wine :-p

I was thinking once a month we can do this (If there is a desire! :-) ). I had a great time with everyone as well. I am open to suggestions for more BYO places!!! Anyone have a suggestion?

Let's make the next one for 1/15 or 1/22... what's the vote, do those dates work? :-)

Lets say, 1/15 OR 1/29. There is already an event planned for 1/22... I don't want to overlap :-) LET ME KNOW YOUR VOTE! :-)
