Hi Marisa! I go to the beach down in lavallette most weekends during the summer. I have some friends scattered around the shore area so I go out at night to a lot of different places (usually seaside heights but sometimes manasquan, belmar, or point pleasant).

I just joined NJYP and wanting to make friends. Count me in. I would love to go as well with a group of friends for weekends. Just like you I get stuck home. we should do it.

I'm in Chadwick.  I'll actually be down for the whole summer this year once school lets out since I'm a teacher.  I'm def up for meeting new people.  I only know 1 other person down there so if they are busy I sit home too.

I'd love to do a trip to the beach.  Point Pleasant is my favorite, but I'm always up for trying a new beach too. Let me know if you want to organize a trip for a Saturday or a Sunday!

Hi all, sorry it took me so long to reply... I've been having a crazyyy week at work. I just quit my job and am starting a new one soon, which means I will be down the shore the whole week of the 18th :)

What if we do a sort of "unofficial" njyp event at surf club or Bar A, or hemingways or jenkinsons to name a few, like happy hour or something? would anyone be up for that? or would that be wierd? lol.

Jenkinsons and Bar A sound interesting.  I've heard of Jenkinsons from "Jersey Shore" and Bar A from Rutgers Alumni parties.  I'm down to hang out next week.

I won't be done and free to do anything until the week of the 25th personally but I'm down for any of those places all summer long.

What's the status of bars in Point Pleasant closing at midnight though????
