Anyone interested in starting a book club with me?

I'd so be interested in a book club. I'm a huge reader. What are you reading now?
I just started reading 50 Shades of Grey. Would anybody be interested in reading that? I'm also open to other suggestions to?
We can at least use this forum to recomend new books and authors. I'm reading "Let the Devil Sleep" by John Verdon right now. He's going to be a big star in the book world and especially with mystery fans. Also, I have a Nook, so if someone wants to take advantage of the "Lend Me" feature, let me know. "50 Shades" is probably not for me but I'm constantly looking for something new to read, whatever the genre.
Hi Marina-
50 Shades was a great read and even though it's a trilogy you'll get through them fast. I'd be interested in participating in a book club. Would we meet and discuss or just use this forum to suggest books? Just curious :)

I have read 50 shades as well although open to many different types of books, would love to join/start a book club!
I've read 50 Shades as well. It'd be a great coffehouse or wine night discussion.
And I also read all types of books if anyone is looking for some suggestions.
I agree with Steve, At the very least this forum would be useful for introducing good books out there. I'm currently reading Half of a Yellow Sun by Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Before that I read the Art of Fielding, which was on the NY Times best seller list.
Although 50 Shades is all over the media and seems a bit over hyped, I'd opt to read it if you guys are all set on it.
Thanks for the tips, Drew. I'll check out the books you mentioned on my Nook later. Currently reading "Legion" by William Peter Blatty - he wrote "The Exorcist". It's a who-done-it mystery novel starring Detective Kinderman. He was the detective in the Exorcist move who was obsessed with movies.
Does anyone have suggestions for books on Non Fiction? I'm open to any topic.
Hey Dar,
Larua Hillenbrand's book "Unbroken" is a fast read. It's about a WWII vet. You'll finish it in a day or so. Hillenbrand also wrote "Seabiscuit.'' If you've already read those, you can't go wrong with "Into Thin Air", which is the story of a disastraus attemp to summitt Mt. Everest. My favorite non-fiction book of all time is probably "The Executioner's Song" by Normal Mailer.
