Hope you are having a great week!! I'm putting together a team for this event and I'm trying to get as many people involved as possible.

The Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation is holding its 5th annual 5K Run and Mile Walk on May 23rd at the Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ.The Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation (FCCF) is a 501c (3) non-profit incorporated in the State of New Jersey. Our mission is very simple. We provide financial assistance and support to the families of children who are battling cancer. Our focus is to help with the unforeseen costs that families can’t anticipate and insurance won’t cover.

How we do it: It all starts with people like me and you. Times are challenging. We want to know that our gift matters. It does. Whatever the amount, it makes a difference. $25.00 gets a child to treatment, $35.00 can co-pay a prescription, $50.00 helps with groceries, $100.00 keeps the lights on.

If you would like to participate in the walk, run, or fundraise for the team go to www.fccf2010.kintera.org and click on participant registration. Then go to join a team, scroll down to Safari Telecom, and choose how you would like to participate. Feel free to invite your family or friends to join the team as well. I’ll be participating in the 5K and it would be great if I had some running partners!
