Festival on the Lower East Side

Hey everyone-

So- prices have gone up nearly 40% on NJ Transit. So- I've vowed to go to NYC now only when necessary- I think the arts festival at Lower East Side this Saturday falls under necessary. If anyone wants to join me, feel free.

sounds fun but I think I'm out...paid for NJ transit tix to NYC this past weekend and yeah, the 25% fare increase and reduced service sucks. I also am planning on limiting trips to the city/train travels altogether. Nice to know I'm not the only one! But I'm def up for going to low-cost/free stuff in the city or elsewhere. In that case, the rail tix is worth it!
FYI - New reduced service schedule is now in effect.
