For those who work/live/visit NYC... Here's a list of Monday night films being played during the summer at Bryant Park... 40th St and 6th Ave.

If anyone would like to go watch a movie, let's plan a NYC Film Event.

I forgot about these. Have you ever seen a movie in the park? If so what's it like?
Yes. I made it to a few movies a few summers ago. Back when the final movie was Superman. The park was packed around 4pm for that one. But during regular mondays it might fill up around 6:30. It's a lot of fun. Different types of people of all ages go.

We should plan to attend one as a group. Even though it's not byob... we can hide it, which will make it even more fun.
Oh man. I can usually do a Monday! All good stuff.
Ok, pick a Monday and let's try to get a group together. I'm right up the Avenue.
Sounds like fun! I can even make it into the city for this :-) Pls. keep me posted. Great idea, Ed! Movie selection is not too bad either...
YAY! I can bring popcorn if they allow it. =)

They allow pretty much any food or beverage except alcohol.

Nice... once we get a headcount... and a date I am happy to volunteer to make or bring an assortment of sandwiches...
Oh cool. I can bring some desserts.
Anyone interested in doing it Aug 2??

They are playing:

Rosemary's Baby

The lawn opens at 5:00pm for blankets and picnicking. The films begin at sunset (typically between 8pm and 9pm).

Roman Polanski's satanic shocker still packs a punch. Winsome Mia Farrow is married to a selfish actor (John Cassavetes) who will do just about anything to land a role. Ruth Gordon and Ralph Bellamy lend creepy support, as does the Dakota apartment building. (1968) 136 min. (Paramount)
