Up for meeting new people?

Hi everyone,

It's summer time and the perfect time to get out and enjoy life but most of my friends are married or in serious relationships and don't seem to want to do that anymore. :-(

So, I'm always up for meeting new people and discovering new places.

I live in Morris County and if anyone is interested in grabbing a drink or meeting for dinner or something else fun, let me know. :-)

Thanks for the message and for jumping in on the discussion about this with your own post... I am totally up for going out. Do you come down to the Monmouth County area? That's where a lot of the best nightlife is, in my opinion. :-)

Hey Nicole,

In the summer, I try to come down at least once a week to go to the beach so I do like coming down there. I would definitely be up for coming down for an outing.

If you're comfortable with the whole 'bar scene' then a HH would be a good start (and one of the most frequent events).. If you aren't then try one of the activity events like hiking or tubing - its a more leisurely pace and easier to make friends.

I live in Bergen County and am totally game for going out in Morristown.

I actually met a majority of the people I know from NJYP through get-togethers organized in the forum, so you're definitely on the right track to making new friends!

Hi Traci,

I often find myself in the same situation as you. All my friends are married or about to be and don't go out anymore. I haven't been to any events yet either but I'd like to meet some friends in the area that would go out! A happy hour or something like that sounds like a good idea.
