Night Paddle - Lake Hopatcong Friday June 23rd

Hello All-

I am guiding a group of kayakers this weekend on Lake Hopatcong for a night paddle. We are launching Friday the 23rd at 7:45pm from the Mount Arlington Beach. If you are interested in joining, just shoot me a message. There is no fee for this, I am guiding this trip for a Meetup group and all are welcome. The only catch is you must have your own equipment or are willing to rent it from one of the marinas in the area.

I live so close to this area, but I have not kayaked much at all... Would you recommend this event for beginners? Is there a meetup group website with info? Let me know, Thanks!

Hi Jennifer-
This is a very easy paddle. The water on Lake Hopatcong at night is as still as can be which is why it is one of my favorite times for a leisurlly paddle :) Even the most basic of beginners could run this trip. I have been with this group a year now and I have had a lot of great times with them :)
