Hi everyone,
I'm looking to move to a more... lively place in NJ that is closer to work and NYC (I'm currently in Mercer County but work in Union). Do you have any suggestions for a 26 year old single attorney? I hear positive things about Morristown, Hoboken, and Jersey City. Please help!
Thanks!!!!!!

Tony - I wrote a huge, heated reply but I deleted it - although there hasn't been a good debate in the forums for a while. I will say though that Morristown is small and very young - I spent about 6 months hanging out there at least once sometimes 2-3 times a week and I got so sick of it that I dread going back at all now. On the other hand I've lived in JC for almost a year and there are a million places I still want to check out in JC and Hoboken and of course NYC also. You really can't ever get bored ... I guess it depends on your personality though - if you don't like change, Morristown is a good bet. If you like variety, then Morristown is going to get old fast.
I live in Morristown and yes, it's true I don't go to Jersey City or Hoboken too often, but it's a great town. You get good bang for your buck, a great neighborhood and easier accessibility than you would in Hudson County. Is it as thrilling as some of those other cities ALL the time? No. But you get an awesome neighborhood feel where lots of business owners work hard to build amazing customer service and lots of young people live in the immediate area.
