I have a confession to make - I'm an awful New Jersyian - I haven't been to a beach in well over three years. Ack!

I want to rectify that this summer, but want to get a group to go with. I'm thinking one Saturday (I know it's more crowded on weekends, but I work 45+ hours a week and can't go on a weekday) we can go to a NJ beach, have a great time, and stay for dinner and then the night life on the Jesey Shore. Just preferably without Snooki.

Who's in? All welcome, especially NJYP newbies.

I spend every weekend at Belmar Beach. Let me know when you get a group together!
If you check out Point, Jenks do have many Guidios this time year. The off-season is pretty good. There is a small outside bar called the " Patio Bar" that has cover bands play and boaters dock and dine there. It is part of the Wharpside grill.

Other beaches that I have experience were pretty good eventough far is Long beach Island (exit 64 NJGS). Parker house at Spring Lake (open only until 11:30), There is a pretty coo lbeach club in Brielle I know off that I used to go too as well. The Boathouse In belmar not so bad.

Dude, I used to have house on the beach and party for years down there and became a master at avoiding the Bennies infested palces. Times have changed with all the profound admiration with this bullshit Jersey Shore cast. The Jersey is really not like that and have to find the right spots with the cool vibe. I'm born and raised in NYC and I hate the bad impression they give the good ones..

Alright, I've talked to Dar in our chatroom (yes we have a chatroom for NJYP) and she's pretty much busy most of August. Sorry Dar, but I'm gonna go with the 14th. That being said, I don't mind going to the beach more than once, so if someone wants to plan another trip, I'm down.

So the 14th of August = Jersey Shore! What beach? The last time I went down to a beach area was Seaside and I was overwhelmed by the NYers greasin up the place. So hopefully we can find something with a better beach/nightlife than seaside.
