Beach Trip Saturday August 7th Asbury Park

After three years of not going to the beach, I've decided to extend my sunburn from last weekend and hit up Asbury Park with some friends. My good friend Justin is helping me plan this one.

All NJYPers, whether new or veteran, whether we've met or not, are completely welcome!

The plan is to get to asbury park around 1pm. It's tough to meet up at the beach, but let's try to anyway. From 1 until 1:30 I'll be at the Beach Bar getting lunch. If you arrive later or can't find us, reach me at 908 955 3484 or 908 95 KEITH. We'll stay for sun and fun, dinner and night life if people are down.

No clue. Haven't been to asbury park in ages. Bring one just in case, or at least a football or something throwable. OOOOH or wiffle ball!!

Ah I would join in but I actually live north up Ocean Ave in Long Branch but have plans for boat and my beach all weekend.

Drew, yes they have volleyball on that beach conveniently right near the Beach Bar.

Drew bring the volleyball, I love playing it. If we're shy people we'll grab random strangers.

Well, the beach was clean, beautiful the view - be it ocean or otherwise - was awesome. The water was 75 degrees and could just be casually walked into it was so warm. The place was happening, the night life (we stayed almost 12 hours!) was awesome, packed, and varied.

In short, it was a great trip and you guys missed out! But fear not, I plan on going back in two weekends. August 21st = beach day! I'll post a forum post for it soon.
