Event Description

Get your daily vitamin D with us on this moderate 5 mile hike. This is a joint hike between NJ Young Professionals and the Young Professionals of Habitat for Humanity of Trenton. The fresh air and long winding paths will keep you healthy and strong while the Young Professionals who will be hiking by your side will keep you entertained. Afterwards we will venture out for a light lunch and cold drinks with new friends who were made along the way.

About 4.4 to 5 miles long.
As with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.

Member Cost:
$10 online
$20 at the door (so please register online)

Non-Member Cost:
$20 online and at the door

Tickets:
There are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is subject to change depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc. All sales are final.

Sweeper:
If the group is large we are going to look for 2 volunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.

Hike Leader:
Maren will be leading this hike. She will start the hike on time and will not wait for latecomers.

What to bring:
Hiking boots (expect mud if there was recent rain).
2 Liters of Water (required).
Snacks, a light lunch, etc.
Toilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.
Bug spray and please dress appropriately for possible ticks.

Inclement Weather:
Rain might cancel this hike. Please check your inbox for updates and the NJYP.org calendar. Tickets will be refunded.

Finding the Group:
Meet the group in the parking area. Please be on time, we will not wait for latecomers.

There are some sections of the trail that are quite narrow, so if you have tick concerns, or your dog is not accustomed to walking in front of or behind you, it may not be ideal. We are pretty dog-friendly, though.
