So, I'm curious... anyone interested in a networking dinner for Marketing professionals?

I used to put together a dinner for creative professionals and communication professionals and I'm wondering what the interest out there is for a Marketing dinner. It's good for networking, jobs, ideas, resources and good conversation.

If you're interested, let me know and tell me your county and type of food you'd be interested in.

I'm thinking Morris County and Sushi!

I'm so glad this event is getting some good interest!! Laura is happy to make it an official event! But, in order to do the event right, we need to set it up for January. So the date is set for January 5th. Put it on the calendar. It's going to be in Morris County. Right now we are planning on having it at Vanderbilt's in Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center, 175 Park Avenue, Florham Park. The place is great to sit and talk. The food is good and it has Lots of free games.

Can everyone interested post who they are and what they do so we can all get to meet you early?

Hey Paul,

A marketing dinner sounds great. I'm a Marketing Manager for a medical device company in Hoboken. So Hudson county. I'm interested in attending on January 5th, or even earlier. I'm down for whatever type of food and flexible on times.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
-Frank
I'm interested as well - I'm currently a CPG marketer working in Parsippany and would love to meet some other people who speak my language.
My experience consists mostly of working within a sales organization of a Boston based investment management company, but post MBA as a marketer at a central Jersey based CPG company. Looking forward to this event!
I'm in!. My name is Anne and I do Graphic Design/Marketing for The Community Theatre in Morristown.
The Marketing Dinner is officially on the calendar!

Hey all you interesting marketing pros... Make sure you sign up for the event and put it on the calendar. The more people that sign up early the more will join in.
Aw. wish this would've been on a weekend. Can't make it to there on a weeknight. However I hope everyone has fun :)

To join in - I'm currently a marketing and corporate communications manager for an ecommerce company. I just quit my job though and next week start as an Associate Brand Marketing manager for another ecommerce vendor in the city. I handle all direct and email marketing campaigns; Web 2.0 marketing; Press releases; Trade Show planning and logistics; customize sales presentations and respond to RFPs/RFQ's
Rachel,

Sorry you can't make the event. Would be nice to meet you. Good luck in the new job!!

This sounds great! I'm in Essex County.
I just got word that one of my clients is hiring a Director of Marketing! Anyone have 6+ years as a Marketing Director? Email me at paul@paulkiesche.com and I'll send you the info on the company and job description. I'd love to get one of you the jobs rather than a stranger.
Thanks for looking out for me, Kristen (and thanks to Laura O. for making sure I saw the post.)

Paul, I e-mailed you about the position. I may not have the desired years of experience, but it's worth a shot. Worst case, I may be able to suggest some other NJYPers to contact.
