My first event was in February 2004 and it was the first NJYP event ever. It was at The Office in Bridgewater and about 9 people were there. I was petrified!

My first NJYP event was a New Year's Eve Eve Party in ... 2005(?) in New Brunswick. I met and hit it off with a really cute boy there that night. He lived really far away from me though so we never saw each other again.

My first event was at the Sun Tavern in the summer of '04 (I think). I met some people there that I still talk to this day. I even attended the wedding of one of the first people I met that day!

My first NJYP event was on 4th of July 2006 - unofficial event organized by one of the members, I met Ryan there who I ended up dating. I had no idea about NJYP at the time and all I was hearing was "NJYP this, NJYP that..." so I gave it try and checked out the site and the events.
After the first one I was hooked PREMIUM - no brainer :)

I think my first event was at the beginning of 2006, at a newbie's happy hour in New Brunswick. Met some great people and decided to come back!

My first event was in October of 2006. It was a Halloween party in Montclair. I had a great time. I dragged an excoworker along. I haven't seen that excoworker since, but the new NJYP friends I made are still hanging strong :)

My first event was a happy hour at "Big Fish" in Princeton.. I went and hung out and was checking out the vibe.. everyone seemed cool.. so I went up and introduced myself. I left shortly after due to the crowd being a little crazy... the next HH at Charlie Browns is when I met most of the friends I have today. Good peeps!

My first event was sometime wayyyyy back in 2004. I've been to so many events over the past 5 years, that it's a bit fuzzy (or maybe that's because of the beer). Anyway, after meeting Laura about 5 years ago at JJ Bitting's in Woodbridge, I think my first event was either also at JJ Bitting's or at a New Brunswick HH. It was way back in the Yahoo Group days when most events were Happy Hours (no Game or Bowling nights back then) and it is amazing to see how far it has progressed over the years.

Wow, my first, and sadly my most recent, event was a wine tasting at Diva Lounge in Montclair back in late 2005, if I remember correctly. I need to get out more!

Mine was... wow, I can't remember the date, but it was about a year ago at one of the Happy Hours in Red Bank. Since I live on the Ocean side of the Ocean/Monmouth Border and I work in Toms River, it's tough to get to many of the things going on up north. Trying to make it to the picnic this year though!
